Get to know Stacey Burk, author of The Adventures of Tiny the Tuxedo Cat, at our Local Children’s Author Expo.

Stacey holds a master’s in elementary education from the University of South Carolina and retired from teaching after a 35-year career. She currently tutors students and enjoys adventures ranging from hiking in Yellowstone to salmon fishing in Alaska. Her book is inspired by her own cat, Tiny, who was found as an orphaned kitten on a horse farm.

Say hello to Ashley Blas, author of Animal Party: A Book of Fun from A to Z!, at our Local Children’s Author Expo.

Ashley earned her law degree cm laude from the University of Toledo College of Law and holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan. Her book was inspired by trips to Riverbanks Zoo with her kids, where she would point out different animals and make up stories about them.
