🚨🔥Fire Safety starts with prevention! 🔥🚨
Don’t let lint become a fire hazard in your home. Clean your dryer lint trap after every load and help keep your family safe.

Lint happens. Fires don’t have to. Lint buildup can lead to a dryer fire if it’s not cleaned regularly.

• Clean the lint filter before or after each load.
• Make sure the outdoor vent flap opens when the dryer is running.
• Have a qualified service person clean the inside of the dryer cabinet and exhaust duct once a year.

🚫🔥 Burn Ban Still in Effect Across North Carolina 🔥🚫

Attention residents: The statewide burn ban in North Carolina remains in effect until further notice.

Due to ongoing dry conditions and increased fire risk, all open burning is prohibited. This includes:

Burning yard debris

Campfires (in non-approved areas)

Fire pits and outdoor burning

These restrictions are in place to help protect our communities, first responders, and natural resources from dangerous wildfires.

Please do your part:✔️ Avoid any open flames outdoors✔️ Properly dispose of cigarettes✔️ Report any signs of wildfire immediately

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our communities safe. Stay alert, stay safe.
