🚨 Take Action to Protect TRIO Programs! 🚨
The recent OMB memo could lead to funding cuts or increased challenges for programs like TRIO, which are essential for helping low-income, first-generation students achieve their educational dreams. These programs change lives, but they need our support! Call your member of Congress today at (202) 224-3121 and ask them to protect TRIO funding and stand against any changes that could harm these vital services.
📞 Use this quick script:
“Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a resident of [Your City/State]. I’m calling today to express my concern about the recent OMB memo and its potential impact on federal programs like TRIO.
TRIO programs play a critical role in helping low-income and first-generation students succeed in education, and any changes that reduce funding or create additional administrative burdens could harm students who rely on these services to achieve their academic and career goals.
I urge [Representative/Senator’s Name] to protect TRIO and other programs that provide vital support to underserved communities. Please prioritize funding for TRIO and oppose any changes that would jeopardize its effectiveness.

AT NO COST, can we cannot allow TRIO programs to be eliminated. The cost to students and our country is too great.
