Faith & Community All-Call
Partners for Youth is bringing together faith and community leaders across Lexington to discuss actionable solutions to challenges facing our youth and families. The conversation will focus on violence prevention, mental health and wellness, family support, and connecting our community to available resources.

Location: Workforce Development Center 501 DeRoode St. - September 18, 2026 6PM - Refreshments will be served

Whether your church has its own community outreach or not, please bring our voice to the table. We need you. I also encourage you to share this correspondence with fellow churches and leadership.

FoodChain is hiring high school students for paid, job-training positions through our Youth Workforce Program!

Youth will have the opportunity to gain real-world job experience while learning and working across FoodChain, including:

🍳 Kitchen: Food prep, cooking, food safety, and kitchen skills
🌱 Aquaponics Farm: Urban agriculture and sustainable food systems
đź›’ Neighborhood Green Grocery: Customer service, retail, and local food
🥕 Education & Cooking Classes: Hands-on cooking and food education programs

Interested? Orientation is the first step!

At orientation, you'll learn more about the available positions, job expectations, and how to apply. We'll also hold short interviews with interested students, so come ready to tell us a little about yourself and why you'd like to work at FoodChain!

📌 Please note: Attending orientation is required for students interested in these positions, but attendance does not guarantee employment.
