Point-In-Time UPDATE: if folks did not receive the email sent out late Tuesday, 01/27/2026.

I hope this message finds everyone safe and warm as we navigate the cold.

Regrettably, we must announce the cancellation of the upcoming annual 2026 Point-In-Time Count of our homeless; originally scheduled for January 28, 2026, from 5 pm tp 9 pm. This decision has been made to ensure the safety and security of all volunteers and staff involved. We greatly appreciate your support and sincerely apologize that we are unable to perform our traditional PIT count.

We will continue to work closely with local partners, including DSS, the WARM program, faith-based groups, the Soup Kitchen, the Mission, the library, our local Health Hub, and many others. Our goal is to ensure that all required data is collected to comply with HUD regulations.

Additionally, all households placed in a hotel due to the frigid temperatures will undergo a complete coordinated entry assessment, during which the required PIT information will be collected.

Thank you for taking the time to RSVP, and we look forward to connecting with you at future events.

Should you be interested in exploring additional volunteering opportunities with TOC, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Please stay safe, and should you encounter individuals in need of assistance, I encourage you to contact us at 301-863-9535. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out directly.

Thank you all for your kindness, support, and commitment!

Sincerely,
Sasha 🍀

New year, same mission—made possible by YOU. ❤️ Happy New Year from all of us at Three Oaks Center! 🌟 As we step into 2026, we look back with profound gratitude for your unwavering generosity this holiday season. Thanks to 11 incredible sponsors, 30 households experiencing homelessness celebrated a holiday filled with hope and dignity. Because of these acts of kindness, 80 children had the chance to experience the simple joy of just being kids—even for a moment. We’re deeply grateful to have such a compassionate community in our corner as we begin this new chapter together. Here’s to a year of new beginnings, renewed hope, and lasting impact.

We’re wishing everyone a safe and happy new year. Best wishes for the year ahead!
