7th and 8th grade students in Mrs. Brooks's classes completed 3 jigsaw puzzles during the last nine weeks during their spare time once all assignments had been completed. One 500 piece puzzle and two 1000 piece puzzles. We love finding that balance between working hard a playing hard!

Evie researched the Irukandji jellyfish venom’s applications for pain management as her final project for Medical Interventions class. In addition to the clinical applications, she researched the efficacy within a case study and empathic utilization parameters for human trials. Good job Evie!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Emily Virnoche, who will be the new Campus Director for Lewisville School of Science and Technology! She has been with our campus for nine years, serving in multiple roles over the years, starting as a Special Education Teacher and advancing through several administrative positions.

From Mrs. Virnoche: "I am truly excited to take on this role, and I am hopeful that great things are to come. I care deeply for this campus, and I hope that will show through in everything I do.

Outside of school, I love to travel, read, and build LEGO sets. During football season, I will always root for the Aggies and watch every single game with gusto. My husband and I are proud pet parents - two cats, Tonks & Scout, and a French Bulldog puppy named Harvey.

I want to thank the amazing teachers and staff for always being supportive and championing our students. To our families, thank you for trusting us with your children's education. Our school would not exist without you, and I am honored to lead this campus into the next incredible chapter."
