Dear Constable Raburn,
My husband, John Turner has been employed by Denton County for the past 14 years and part of your staff the entire time. I have seen many changes over those past years, many people coming and going. Some of those changes for the better and then some not.
After the hiring of Officer Jeri Rodriguez, there has been nothing but improvement with the office. Officer Rodriguez implemented the improving of shooting skills, office procedures, car equipment, and equipment for the other officers.
With you promoting Officer Rodriguez to Chief Deputy for Pct. 3 the only thing that will come from your choice is positive for all. She truly takes all of the officers’ lives and issues ahead of anything else. You have a person that will truly give 200%, if not more, towards the improvement and security of Pct. 3.
My husband now comes home from working the day with a relaxed feeling and we are able to talk. Prior to the change in command, he was ready to explode. The new staff that she has started to put together is fantastic. All personalities blend to make the small office environment a pleasant working space.
I truly thank you and Chief Deputy Rodriguez. She is an asset for Pct. 3 and for all the personal interests she takes on. We look forward to another four, years at least.
