The officers and members would like to send our sincere condolences to Mr. John Earnest Jr’s Fire family at Chief Logan (Highland) Fire Co.
We also ask that you keep our members, John III aka “Poohie or Lt 5” and Scott aka “Tubbs” in your thoughts and prayers at this extremely difficult time as they mourn the loss of their father. May god comfort you and your families in this time of sorrow.
We love you guys and are here for any needs you may have.

The bridge project on Ertley Rd has been completed enough to open it up. Please use extreme caution as it currently has a gravel approach. It will be paved at a later date.

Update:

A reminder that donut 🍩 pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, between 6AM and 1PM, at the Decatur Fire Company cookhouse in Alfarata. Additional donuts will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you for your orders.

It’s donut time again. The Decatur Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will be making sugar, powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar donuts. They are $10 a dozen and $5 for a half dozen. Pick up is Shrove Tuesday, February 17th, from 6 am until 1 pm.

The officers made the decision to help out our brother and sisters at Junction Fire Co by loaning them our old engine while repairs were made on their apparatus. When you have the ability to help, you help. We know with our a doubt, if we needed and they were able, they would do the same for us.
