25 years later, we remember.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, friends, and loved ones left behind. We remember the survivors whose lives were forever changed, and the countless first responders, service members, volunteers, and all Americans who stepped forward to help in the days, months, and years that followed.

343 members of the FDNY made the ultimate sacrifice that morning. They entered the World Trade Center as others were making their way out, moving towards danger because there were people who needed help. Their courage and sacrifice remains a powerful reminder of what it means to serve, to answer the call, to place others before ourselves.

Today, the Heritage Volunteer Fire Company remembers the 343 FDNY firefighters who did not return home, along with the law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, civilians, and all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

We also remember the first responders who have lost their lives in the years since, and those who continue to face the lasting health effects of their service at Ground Zero and the other attack sites.

Twenty-five years later, we have not forgotten.

We will never forget.

Join us at the Heritage Volunteer Fire Company on Saturday, October 24th, for a Benefit Bingo supporting Special Olympics Pennsylvania - Team Mifflin/Juniata.

Doors open at 11 AM, with Bingo beginning at 1 PM. Pre-sale tickets are $40 and include 18 cards, while tickets at the door are $50. Extra cards will also be available for purchase.

Food and drinks, raffle baskets, baked goods, rip tickets, and a 50/50 tickets will all be available for purchase throughout the event.

Come out, have some fun, and help support the athletes of Special Olympics Team Mifflin/Juniata!
