This is some of the best advice, TAKE YOUR PTO!
Did you know that with the Air Force you get 30 days of PTO every year?!? Along with that you get every federal holiday off. Enjoy your time away from work, it will still be there when you get back.
Check out some of my photos from a recent trip we took to Iceland! And the best part? I still received my paycheck while traveling.
Give me a call so we can get you traveling the world!

Also let me know in the comments let me know where your dream vacation destination is!
From my very first job until now - no matter how junior or senior my role has been, I've used every single vacation day or paid time off that was made available to me.
I don't understand people who say things like "I've taken 5 days off in the last 2 years" like it's some badge of pride. I mean, give me a break.
Firstly, that's basically working for free for your employer. I don't know about you but free labour isn’t something I signed up for.
Secondly, as a finsta page about money I need to point out that the opportunity cost of spending unpaid days at work is just ridiculous.
Financially, best case you're not spending money on your commute, gas, lunch etc.
Worst case it's preventing you from doing something else that could develop into a small income stream. Whether it's an etsy store, spending time researching a dividend stock, pet sitting, putting stuff on sale on Facebook, whatever.
That's not even considering the non-financial downsides like stress, interacting with people you don't want to etc.
So as we enter the last 2 months of the year - take your vacation days!
It doesn't matter if you're not travelling.
Spend a week checking out new restaurants, working on that home project, updating your budget, visiting family, doing that puzzle, binge watching your guilty pleasure, taking naps - whatever!
