Webster Elementary PTA... 2018-2019 in the books! As we finish up a great school year, I am already thinking, planning, and organizing for the next! Parent Teacher Association.... not Parent to Avoid, just in case you were wondering what PTA stood for! The mission statement: “Every Child. One Voice. PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children”. Now reread that statement again. Engage by definition is to attract or involve someone’s interest or attention; our kids are worth taking the time and effort to become involve! This upcoming year I am going to challenge every parent, step-parent, grandparent, and guardian to take the time to be involved. You don’t bake.... that is OKAY, just there is room here for the Pinterest mom, the Amazon-Prime, Classroom Volunteer, the sale’s pitch dream, the intro-vert that has mad skills at cutting out 40 shapes to help our fabulous kindergarten teacher, or if your NASCAR skills could help run those much dreaded errands! I would like for this page to be a place for discussion about understanding what the PTA is up to, event reminder’s, what you think our goal should be for next year (i.e. NEW PLAYGROUND Equipment, FIELD TRIPS), if you know of or have idea’s about what great fundraiser’s we should do! So first up... LIKE our Webster Elementary School PTA Page, SHARE it, & INVITE your friends, families to do the SAME!
