🗑️🧹CLEAN-UP DAY & BLIGHT TO BEAUTY💐🌲
Albert Township is full of resilient residents, and that pride and strength has only grown stronger through the challenges we have faced together over the last year. As a small token of appreciation from your township, we are pleased to offer a Free Clean-Up Day for township residents. Residents must bring proof of residency. (Latest property tax notice, current electric bill, voter’s registration, or driver's license)

The Albert Township Transfer Site will accept: bagged household trash, leaves, mattresses, toilets, stoves, scrap metal, free of charge on: June 20th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
NOT ALLOWED: Tires, Brush, Hazardous waste, flammable materials, liquid paints, chemicals, explosives, concrete, motor oils, gasoline or propane, no air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers (NO-FREON appliances).

Albert Township has long been committed to environmental stewardship and preserving the natural beauty that makes our community special, including our lakes, rivers, forests, and outdoor spaces. Our ongoing blight enforcement efforts support that mission by helping protect property values, public health, and the overall appearance of our township.

Blight issues create environmental concerns, impact neighboring properties, and negatively affect the image of the entire community. By working together, we can continue to keep Albert Township clean, welcoming, and beautiful for residents and visitors alike.

“Blight to Beauty” campaign will start July 1, 2026 with penalty. For the Zoning Ordinances please visit:https://alberttwpmi.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Albert-Township-Zoning-Ordinance-2026.pdf
