Here are some pictures from this week’s social skills workshop. The kids were engaged throughout the session. One activity was Emotion Charades, where they were split into two groups. After the activity, there was an open discussion about how comfortable or uncomfortable they felt during the Emotion Charades.

UnitedYES youth went to watch the Lewiston Middle School team play against Auburn Middle School. The students had a wonderful time and enjoyed experiencing the game together.

Today we learned the basics of photography, and everyone had a chance to pair up and take photos of each other. We wrapped up the session with a fun contest for Funniest Photo and Best Action Photo. 📸

This class will now run on a weekly basis for youth who want to participate in Mohamed Media’s Photography Class. We’re excited to help young photographers learn, create, and build confidence through photography!

Today, we had our first photography and editing class from 4–5:30 pm. A good number of kids came, and it was a good start to the series. We’re looking forward to more classes and experiences with the kids in this program.
