Brush pick-up is put on hold when we are paving or working on other time sensitive projects. Our crews will be out ASAP. We appreciate your patience.

Brush pick-up is currently paused due to paving. Town residents have the option of bringing their brush to the Highway garage, located at 1445 Swann Road, from 7:30 am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Brush pick-up has begun & will continue throughout the spring & summer. Crews work on a regular rotation throughout the Town, which takes approximately 4-5 weeks to complete. Please DO NOT CALL, as the Highway Dept. does not schedule pick-ups.

At times, there will be delays due to weather, paving season & events beyond our control. Town residents also have the option of bringing your brush to the Town Garage @ 1445 Swann Road between 7:30 am & 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Different equipment is used on the trucks for leaves & brush, plus we use a loader for the bigger piles of brush. The different trucks/equipment are rarely in the same neighborhood on the same day. If you happen to see one of our trucks & wonder why they didn’t stop at your house, don’t worry...it will get picked up when the proper equipment is on your road.

Guidelines:

• If you utilize the services of a contractor, they are responsible for clean-up of the trimmings.
• We do not go on private property – please do not request us to do so.
• ALL BRANCHES MUST be piled as neatly as possible with all cut ends facing the road, piled as closely to the road as safety permits (approximately waist high.)
• BRANCHES MUST BE FREE OF ROOTS & DIRT. We DO NOT pick up rocks, stumps, leaves, lawn sweepings, twigs, vines, rubbish, etc. Please do not put these items out with your branches. We will not pick them up as they pose a danger to the men & equipment.
