These gatherings are a great opportunity to connect, practice ASL, and enjoy time together in a welcoming community setting.

The Donald Heiter Community Center still has availability for before and after school care. If you’re still searching for a reliable option for your child, we’re happy to help make your school year a little easier.

Our program also offers care on no-school days, giving working families dependable support throughout the school year.

Interested in joining our team? We will be welcoming site members through Core Susquehanna AmeriCorps! 🇺🇸

Members serve 1,700 hours from mid-August 2026 through mid-August 2027. They receive a living stipend, health insurance, and an educational award to help pay down debt or contribute toward future schooling. Additionally, current school loans are deferred for the year while serving.
