A special thank you to the Daughters of the American Revolution Daniel Cooper Chapter for their hard work and to Jean Sims, Committee Chair of NSDAR and OSDAR, for the engaging presentation. Everyone left with a brain full of information and a bag full of goodies!

Uncle Sam being the hype man for Jane Wickham as she reads “Americans” by Douglas Wood. 🇺🇸

We kicked off our summer reading events with a celebration of America’s 250th year! Uncle Sam made a special visit to teach kids all about this uniquely American symbol.🇺🇸

Jane Wickham from the Joy & Whimsy Depot read Americans by Douglass Wood, a book highlighting the values that unite us. The children then created Uncle Sam masks and took home an activity book on American history.
