The Green Dragons capped off a truly historic basketball season, one that will be remembered for years to come.

This team set a new school record with 24 wins and advanced farther in the State Tournament than any team in program history. These achievements reflect their hard work, resilience, and commitment all season long.

Congratulations to our players and coaches on an outstanding year. The future is bright for Green Dragon basketball!

All Activities Cancelled – March 16, 2026
Due to current conditions, all Lewisburg Area School District afterschool activities scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2026, are cancelled.

This includes all athletic practices, events, and extracurricular activities, as well as the PIAA State Semifinal Boys Basketball Game originally scheduled for this evening.

The state semifinal game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 17 at 6:00 PM at Hazleton Area High School.

What a night for Lewisburg Boys Basketball!

The Green Dragons battled their way to an exhilarating 60–58 victory over Bishop McDevitt, showing incredible heart, determination, and composure down the stretch. In a game that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, our boys rose to the moment and secured the win when it mattered most.

With this victory, Lewisburg advances to the Final Four in the PIAA 4A Tournament!

Next up: Monday’s semifinal game will be at Hazleton High School on Monday, March 16 at 7:30 against Devon Prep. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to show our support for these outstanding student athletes and coaches.

Congratulations to two of our wrestlers who represented Lewisburg at the PIAA State Wrestling Championships in Hershey.

Landon Michaels battled through a highly competitive field and finished among the top 20 wrestlers in the state. Competing at the state tournament is a tremendous accomplishment, and this finish reflects the hard work and determination shown throughout the season.

Landen Wagner delivered an outstanding performance and finished 6th in the state, earning a place on the podium in Hershey.

We are proud of the way both athletes represented Lewisburg, their teammates, and our community. Congratulations to our wrestlers and coaches on an excellent season.

The Lewisburg Boys Basketball team has won the second round of the PIAA State Playoffs and is headed to the Final Eight in the state in Class 4A! What an incredible run by this group. The Dragons continue their postseason journey this Friday night as they battle for a spot in the state semifinals.

Congratulations to our Lewisburg boys basketball team on their second round PIAA state playoff victory! With the win, the Dragons move on to the final eight in the state in Class 4A, an outstanding accomplishment for our student-athletes and coaches.

The Dragons will take the court again in the state quarterfinals on Friday as they continue their postseason run. More details on the game location and time will be shared soon.

State Playoff Update

The Lewisburg boys basketball team advances to the next round of the PIAA State Playoffs on Tuesday, March 10 against Pope John Paul High School.

Congrats to our Lewisburg boys basketball team on a great win over Big Spring in the first round of the state playoffs. The Dragons delivered a strong team performance, highlighted by LJ Tucker, who put on an impressive display beyond the arc and helped power the team to a victory.
