Just in time for spring! 🌺🌸🌼

We recently installed our interpretive sign and planted the first few plants of the season--milkweed (for attracting monarchs) and zinnias! Tom harvested these seeds from his own garden In 2020 and our goal is to keep that legacy going.

Be sure to check back throughout the season as we plant more plants for all of our pollinator friends and stay tuned for a final map/guide of all of the plants used in the 2022 edition of the garden!

Ever hear the saying, “Leave the Leaves and stay the fallen?” If you have, have not, or not sure why read the fantastic article below. We’ve been getting a lot of questions about where butterflies go in the winter and what you can to to help.

Even though it's been a pretty mild winter, we have had some snow and cold weather. It's been months since I've seen a butterfly outside.
