Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded in 1956 by Homer K. Moore as a means for transport for the residents of Wantagh and Levittown. We provide emergency care on our ambulances staffed with Advanced Life Support providers and are 9-1-1 responders. We have volunteers trained from CPR to the level of Paramedic providing emergency care to our communities. We are funded entirely thro

Thank you to EMT Nick Zampini and his mom, Lucy, who are always keeping our crews well-fed with their amazing homemade goodies. Today, Nick came to crew with two delicious vanilla cakes shaped like a “W” and “L” for the Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps!
We truly appreciate all the support you show our members. The cake didn’t last long, and that’s probably the best compliment we can give! 😋
Thanks again, Nick and Mrs. Zampini!

Happy EMS Week to all of our incredible volunteers who continue to dedicate their time, compassion, and commitment to serving our community each and every day. Last year alone, our agency answered more than 1,600 calls for service, and we are already on track to exceed that number this year, a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of our crews.
Beyond answering emergency calls, our members are constantly giving back through community events like our Spooky Ambulance, Santa Run, public education programs, town and county standbys, and countless other events throughout the year. They continue to train tirelessly to provide the highest level of care possible while always being there when our community needs them most.
This week, we proudly recognize and thank all EMS professionals and volunteers who sacrifice time with family and friends to help keep our community safe. Your dedication, professionalism, and heart do not go unnoticed. We are proud to celebrate all of you this EMS Week.
