Big day in Levelland on Saturday! It starts early in the morning with the "Run the Mosaics" event. Keep an eye out for runners between 7:30am and 10:30am in the downtown area, College Avenue, SPC Campus, Country Club area and Hwy 385 South headed back toward downtown.

After the run, hang out on the square from 12-3pm for Lemonade Day! We will have lots of young entrepreneurs selling their lemonade & goodies! Enjoy the day!

We are proud of our law enforcement team!

Outstanding work by Sgt. Carrasco, Officer Lazcano, Sgt. Parker, Officer Baker, Sgt. Ramirez, and Det. Miranda.

A call came in during shift change, a time when transitions are taking place and personnel are moving between assignments. Despite that, these officers came together as a team to ensure a thorough response and professional investigation. Their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to serving our community are exactly what help preserve the quality of life we all enjoy in Levelland.

During the early morning hours of June 6, 2026, officers responded to a report of two suspicious males who were allegedly checking vehicles and properties in a residential area. Officers quickly responded and identified the individuals.

While investigating the report, additional officers canvassed the area and discovered evidence of multiple vehicle burglaries. As the investigation progressed, both subjects were detained pending further investigation.

After reviewing surveillance footage obtained from several residences in the area, investigators developed probable cause to believe both individuals were involved in the reported offenses. Both subjects were subsequently taken into custody and charged accordingly.

Thank you to the vigilant residents who reported suspicious activity and provided surveillance footage. Community partnerships play a vital role in helping us keep Levelland safe.
