You didn't think we would let an opportunity to give back to the community go by did you?!

It is St. Patrick's Day Weekend and what better time to bring a little leprechaun magic to everyone with a fun giveaway!

We have hidden gift cards and prizes under each number (none valued at less than $25!)! Two numbers have 4-leaf clovers under them.

To enter this giveaway
1) Like this post and page
2) Select one number (1-24) and post it in comments.
3) Share for an extra entry

We will randomly pick two winners and whatever number they pick they will win the prize associated with that number!
If you are a randomly selected winner and selected a 4-leaf clover associated number you will win ALL prizes associated with the numbers that are right next to your number (vertical and horizontal!)

Did you know? If you looked at 100 clovers, you would almost certainly find zero 4-leaf clovers. On average, you'd need to check around 5,000 clovers to find one.

🍀 Fun fact: Certain patches of clover have genetic mutations that make four-leaf clovers more common, so “clover hunters” sometimes find several in one small area.

Four-leaf clovers tend to cluster genetically, meaning if you find one, the surrounding patch may produce several more.

We will never ask you to click a link or give personal information to claim a prize. All giveaways are FREE. Do not respond to reactions or comments telling you that you have won. We will announce all winners in a separate post! Facebook has no part in this giveaway.

🚨 Interstate 90 Closure – South Dakota 🚨

Beginning at 12:00 AM on Sunday, March 15, 2026, Interstate 90 will be closed across South Dakota, from Wall to Sioux Falls, due to hazardous winter weather conditions.

❄️ What to know:
• No travel will be permitted on I-90 once the closure goes into effect
• Conditions are expected to deteriorate quickly overnight
• Plows and emergency crews may not be able to safely respond during the storm
• The interstate will reopen once conditions improve and crews can safely clear the roadway

⚠️ If you are traveling tonight:
• Make alternate plans now
• Do not attempt to bypass barricades or closure points
• Check current road conditions before traveling

You can check updated road conditions anytime at https://sd511.org or by dialing 511.

Please help keep first responders and road crews safe by staying off closed roadways. Travel will resume as soon as conditions allow.

Reminder this is now on the 20th.

Updates posted below ⬇️

A message to our SD State Fair Campers:

❗️Update as of Friday, August 22 morning❗️
Gate 13 is currently closed temporarily as we work to address the most problematic areas. We received well over 2 inches of rain early this morning. Site conditions will vary, but the majority of Gate 13 is inaccessible. Please call ahead before coming.

We strongly advise campers in Pasque Park and Gate 13 to delay moving in for a day or two. We are working to address the most problematic areas as able. We will update here as conditions change.

❗️Update as of Saturday, August 16 morning❗️
We received 1.5 inches plus early this morning with the storm that rolled through. Site conditions will vary and will continue to vary based on if more moisture is recieved. See below message from Thursday regarding conditions.

Thursday, August 14:
As you make plans to bring your campers to the State Fairgrounds, please be aware that the campgrounds are extremely muddy due to recent heavy rains in Huron, and more rain is predicted for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Some areas still have standing water, and some areas where new hookups were installed this summer have not yet re-established a substantial grass bed. We are working to address the most problematic areas as we can.

To help protect the grounds and ensure the best possible and safest conditions for everyone, we strongly advise campers to delay moving in as long as possible to avoid getting stuck and causing significant damage to the grounds. We understand that some campers must arrive in a specific order, but waiting as long as you can will help minimize damage to the grounds.

We also strongly encourage you to plan accordingly by bringing outdoor rugs, mats, etc. for those sites that don’t have an established grass bed (To be transparent, there are several sites that are very wet and muddy).

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Questions, comments or concerns can be sent via direct message to this page.

We look forward to seeing you at the fair.
