https://ltgwater.org/news-detail?item_id=28834
In compliance with the Drought Contingency Plan, we have met all requirements to reduce our drought contingency stage to Stage 1.
We ask that customers limit the irrigation of landscaped areas to Sundays and Thursdays for customers with a street address ending in an even number (0,2,4,6 or 8), and Saturdays and Wednesdays for water customers with a street address ending in an odd number (1,3,5,7 or 9), and to irrigate landscapes only between the hours of midnight and 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to midnight on designated watering days.
We also ask that customers practice water conservation and minimize or discontinue water use for non-essential purposes.
We are targeting a 15% reduction in typical water usage. The details regarding requirements can be found using the direct link and are also posted at the water office.
These requests are voluntary. LTG WSC appreciates your cooperation.

An update to the community: After the Bode Plant well was repaired, we submitted a water sample for testing. The test results were good and we have put the well back into service. To maintain compliance with our Drought Contingency Plan, we must remain in the present drought contingency stage until Friday. We are currently assessing the repaired well’s operation and production capabilities. Barring any issues with the well repairs, we expect to be able to lessen the drought contingency stage tomorrow afternoon.
We are still under a Drought Contingency Stage 5, targeting a 25% reduction in water usage. The details regarding requirements can be found posted at the water office and on the ltgwater.org website the direct link below.

UPDATE: Drought Contingency Stage 5
July 26, 2023

An update to the community: In troubleshooting the recent Bode Rd well failure we were able to determine on 7/17/23 that the pump motor was inoperable, and the cable tested out of specification. Additionally, the pump was at the end of its expected useful life, and sections of casing were found that needed to be replaced. Parts were immediately ordered with expected delivery delays due to availability.

We are currently at this state, awaiting delivery of all the necessary parts to make the repairs. We are hopeful that the parts can arrive soon and that the well repair crew can begin work promptly afterwards.

We are still under a Drought Contingency Stage 5, targeting a 25% reduction in water usage. The details regarding requirements can be found at the link below and are also posted at the water office.
