Boil Water Notice Rescinded
July 7th, 2026

On July 1st, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Leroy Tours Gerald Water Supply, public water system, PWS 1550027, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees of the Leroy Tours Gerald Water Supply that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and provides TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of July 7th, 2026.

Public Notice to Boil Water

Due to a 6-inch main line break the Bode well has reduced pressure at the well, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system Leroy-Tours-Gerald Water Supply Corporation, PWS #1550027, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption.

This notice is for all LTG Water Areas except for:

Wh***ey Hollow Road
Uptmore Road
Bluhm Road
Grellhesl Road
And All of the Tours Area

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.
