🚨Engine and Truck Co run Mutual Aid to Calvert🚨

On 6/5/26 at 11:05 ST1 was dispatched as the Working Fire Engine and Working Fire Truck to Calvert County For a Fire in the basement.

Engine 10 arrived on scene Picked up the 3rd due Engine CO’s supply line and assumed RIT then later operated on Division 1 assisting with extinguishment and overhaul.

Truck 1 arrived on scene and operated in the basement then later on Division 2.

Units operated for Approx 2 hours before returning to Lawrence Ave

🎉🎉Graduation Day🎉🎉

Today members attended the Leonardtown High School Graduation Ceremony to support one of our own.

Congratulations Madison Trossbach and all the rest of the Class of 2026. May the future be bright for all of you. Madison intends to pursue a career in Fire & EMS now that she has finished high school. Good luck!

We also had 2 members graduate from St. Mary’s Ryken on Tuesday evening. Congratulations Andrew Tippett and DJ Kinslow!

🚨🚨Service Call - Animal Rescue🚨🚨

About an hour ago at 2327 hours, your Leonardtown Volunteers were alerted for an important call - attempting to help a small cat out of a tree.

Truck 1 responded after dispatch with 4 personnel. Upon arrival, Truck 1’s crew located a small kitten stuck in the tree. Crew members made multiple attempts to get the kitten, but was unsuccessful as the cat kept climbing.

The cat gave a verbal agreement to climb down when it was ready.
