What an incredible day on the water! A huge thank you to all the captains, crews, and anglers who came out to support the 29th Annual Community Fire Company Fluke Masters Tournament. You made this year a massive success! 🎣🔥

The 29th Annual Community Fire Company Fluke Masters Tournament is officially locked in!

Get your crew together and get those lines ready. Whether you're hunting for a monster flatfish or just looking to support a great local cause, this is the tournament you don't want to miss.
Here is everything you need to know to get on the leaderboard:

📅 THE DATE: Saturday, August 1, 2026
⚓️ CAPTAINS MEETING: Friday, July 31st @ 7:00 PM at the Community Firehouse (75 Appleton Ave., Leonardo, NJ).
⚠️ Attendance is mandatory!
⚖️ WEIGH-IN STATION: Leonardo State Marina, Leonardo
💰 ENTRY: $200 per boat (Includes 6 anglers, including the Captain). Additional anglers are $25 each, up to 8 total.

🚒🔥 Let me tell you about a guy who doesn't know how to quit...Fireman Codianni, repping Community Fire Company and MTFD with everything he's got!

While most 63-year-olds are watching from the couch, this man strapped up and climbed 2,226 stairs, that's 104 floors and raised $1,855 for charity at the 2026 Tunnel to Towers Tower Climb on June 7th in New York City. Finishing in 36 minutes, ranked 633 out of 1,059 overall and 451 out of 682 men meaning he literally ran circles around hundreds of guys half his age without breaking a sweat. The young bucks trained all year… He just shows up. 😂💪

To borrow from Hamilton... "Look around, look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now" and lucky WE are to have a guy like this in our corner representing our community! 🎭🇺🇸

Congrats Codianni, an absolute beast and an inspiration to all of us! 🙌

🚒 Mutual Aid Response | Atlantic Highlands

Members of Community Fire Company responded on a mutual aid assignment to the Borough of Atlantic Highlands for a working structure fire.

Upon arrival, the crew from 475 was assigned to advance a handline into the interior. Firefighters conducted extensive overhaul operations, opening ceilings to locate and extinguish hidden pockets of fire. Their swift actions and seamless teamwork helped bring the incident under control and prevent further extension.

Community Fire Company remains committed to delivering professional fire service support to our neighboring departments whenever the call comes in. 💪🔥

🚒🔥 Better late than never to the feed, but we were right on time when it counted.

On April 2nd, Community Fire Company 4 answered the call, responding mutual aid to the City of Long Branch for a reported fire in a commercial structure under construction. Supply lines stretched, units staged, and our crew got to work alongside operating companies conducting overhaul operations ensuring the fire was fully extinguished and the scene was left safe and secure.

The post may be late, but the response wasn't. 🚒💨💨💨
