This is the photo that lead the Leonard Fire Department to investigate the history of our addition. Note the dent in the drivers aft diamond plate. Other clues include the now missing underbody boxes, and the red rims. This photo would lead us to start the confirmation, on DCFD letterhead, including VIN information for a complete history of our truck.

DFCD Rescue truck. We believe this is after the truck was moved from Rescue 2 to Rescue 4 and may have been a backup at that point. Photo dated April 23, 2003 but unable to confirm. Note the livery change and removal of the #2 from the door.

We are unsure of the date or timeline of this photo. It may be mid-refurbish or pre-service of DCFD Rescue 2's use. The clues are the squad on the the front bumper, but missing the number 2 on the door, and missing halogen scene light.

This photo is what we believe to be the earliest photo in our collection with the new Freightliner chassis. The clue is the "squad" on the front bumper. Further visible modifications including windows, warning lights, underbody boxes, wheel well tank doors, and forward facing scene lights. The forward scene lights are Whelen Scenelight on a Whelen Engineering mount. They are dual 50 watt halogen lights.
