There are currently no routine population-wide screening tests recommended for healthy people to detect blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma before symptoms appear. Instead, blood cancers are usually found when routine blood work shows unexpected abnormalities or when a persongoes to the doctor with physical symptoms.
