Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope Beacon of Hope Beacon of Hope Community Services has a long history of providing supportive services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

In 1987, several parents and relatives of adults with developmental disabilities united and founded the Beacon of Hope. They all shared a common optimism that their loved ones could live at home in a family setting and still receive needed services and supports.

“Many Pieces, One Image” is an example of how important it is to be part of a whole. Each person brings something different….experiences, perspectives and ways of contributing. When we bring all of these differences together, we create something none of us could create on our own… that is The Beacon of Hope

“Many Pieces, One Image” will be displayed at the Leominster Public Library through the month of September and is supported in part by a grant from the Leominster Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
