Notice to the taxpayers: the SECOND half of real estate taxes are due and payable by Saturday, October 31st, 2026. If you are mailing they need to be postmarked no later than October 31st,2026. There is a drop box (open 24/7) located in the east door vestibule at the courthouse.

FLOODED FARMLAND APPLICATION

Applications are available in the Director of Equalization Office for reduction in value on flooded farmland. The flooded agricultural land must be non-farmable during the past three growing seasons. Land that is in CRP or any other program where use is restricted is not eligible for this adjustment.

Applications must include a current FSA map with the flooded acres highlighted on the map. An application is required for each parcel of land. The deadline for submission is November 1, 2026. You must apply each year to receive a water reduction.
