It is with great sadness the we have learned of the passing of long time board member, Janet Rodgers.

Janet was a delightful woman who brought warmth, kindness and grace to every meeting and event she attended. Always impeccably put together, down to her pretty painted fingernails, with a smile on her face, she was truly a pleasure to be around. Her gentle spirit, positive attitude, and dedication to our organization will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Janet's years of service and commitment, along side her husband Gene, helped shape our organization, and her friendship enriched the lives of so many. She will be greatly missed.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we extend our deepest condolences to Janet's family and loves ones during this difficult time.
Rest in Peace Janet, Your legacy of kindness and service will not be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸

The Upper Leacock Township War Memorial Association recognizes the courage of those living with PTSD and encourages our community to promote awareness, understanding, and support for Veterans, service members, first responders, and all individuals affected by this invisible wound.

Our upstairs tenant Leola Flea Market has a great selection of garden flags and has these patriotic summer garden flags. This weekend they are running a special- buy 3 flags, get a FREE 3 packs of garden stoppers. With this wind they surely will come in handy!

Leola Flea Market hours are Thursday- Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 10-2 Every Week.

Today is Armed Forces Day — a day to recognize and honor the men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Their commitment, sacrifice, discipline, and willingness to serve something greater than themselves continue a tradition that has protected our freedoms for generations.

Whether stationed close to home or around the world, today’s service members carry the responsibility of defending our nation and supporting those in need during times of conflict, crisis, and uncertainty.

On Armed Forces Day, we pause to say thank you — not only to those in uniform, but also to the families who support them every step of the way.

We are grateful for your service.
