As the weather warms up, residents may notice an increase in door-to-door solicitors offering services or information about home repairs and other projects.

A reminder to our community: all solicitors in East Lampeter and Upper Leacock Township are required to obtain a permit through the East Lampeter Township Police Department. Approved solicitors are issued an official badge that must be clearly visible. This badge includes their photo, name, and the business they represent.

For your safety and peace of mind, you can view a list of all currently permitted solicitors on the East Lampeter Township website: https://eastlampetertownship.org/residents/

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the Police Department.
