4th grade students have been learning about the heart through their reading curriculum this quarter. 4th grade students in Ms. Hinrichsen's class received a special surprise this morning: A Zoom visit with Ms. Hinrichsen's brother, Dr. Catteau who is working on his residency in anesthesiology! Students asked Dr. Catteau questions about the heart! They had some great ones! Thanks for the visit, Dr. Catteau!

Happy Labor Day Leo Families! The Riverview Sweets School Staff Sweet Treats program has extended their enrollment through Wednesday the 9th. New payment options of splitting the cost into 3 payments or monthly through April are available. Students became the teachers in Mrs. Pepple's 5th grade classroom! Students are learning about how Indian tribes functioned during historical times. Students presented a section of learning on clothing, food/ drink, transportation and trade, shelter and getting around. Presenters asked their audience questions about what they learned during their presentation, and the audience members used a rubric to score their learning. Amazing work students!
