We would like to recognize the City of Lenox Public Works team and Lenox Municipal Utilities employees for their willingness to assist the City of Corning in the aftermath of the recent storm. When Corning reached out for help, our crews immediately stepped up and answered the call.
This is one of the many reasons small-town communities are so special—we come together to support one another during times of need. Neighbor helping neighbor is at the heart of what makes our communities so strong. We know that if we were ever in need of assistance—as we have in the past—our neighboring communities would be there to return the favor without hesitation.
Our thoughts remain with the City of Corning and all of its residents as they continue their recovery efforts. We are grateful that no injuries were reported, and we wish them a smooth and speedy return to normalcy.
