Homestead Woods Wading Pool (small pool) Closed Until Monday (Pool Facility Remains Open)

Dear Homestead Woods Residents,

We wanted to provide a quick update regarding the wading (small) pool.

Late yesterday evening, a mechanical issue was identified that requires replacement of a specialized part. We were able to locate the needed component, and it is currently being expedited for shipment to us as quickly as possible.

At this time, the part is scheduled to arrive late Sunday, with installation planned for Sunday evening or first thing Monday morning.

During this repair period, the wading pool will remain temporarily closed and inaccessible for safety reasons.

The good news is that the main pool is fully operational and remains open for swimming and normal use.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work to complete the repair as quickly as possible and restore full pool operations.

Neighbor, please see below about this month's fun social events including an Egg Stuffing Party tomorrow (see attachment) and then the Easter Egg Hunt on March 28th at 10am

HOMESTEAD WOODS EASTER EGG HUNT!

This year's egg hunt will be held on Saturday March 28th at 10am.

For all the new neighbors, this event is held in our Homestead Woods Park (grassy area/playground in front of the pool). There will be 3 sections for the hunt--ages 0-2, 3-5, and 6-7. There will also be a scavenger hunt for all children ages 8 and up.

We also will have a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny!

So grab an Easter basket and come have some neighborly fun, Saturday March 28th!!!

We will also need some volunteers to help with the event. Please contact Bryan Charcut at [email protected] to learn more about this opportunity.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here is the link to sign up for the homestead sleigh rides, Thursday 12/11!

Please limit the number of people to Homestead residents so everyone can be accommodated. Also below is the link to volunteer for the event.

We are looking for someone to take over next year so let me know if you are willing and able!

Save the date for the Annual Sleigh Rides - Thursday, December 11th!!! Sign ups for rides will be sent out 2 weeks before the event.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
We need about 5 volunteers in different capacities. All of it is pretty easy, just getting people to donate a bit of time and energy to make an event great!
~Tent Set Up (day before or day of) - 3-4, honestly the more the merrier!
~Cider Heat Up - 1-2 people
~Purchase Goodie / Candy Canes - 1 person
~Event - 2 people (split the night) to keep Santa company and just be a jolly good presence. Again, the more the merrier.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would be interested. The neighborhood LOVES this event and we can’t do it without Santa’s helpers! ❤️🎅🏻🛷🎄
