Please Welcome Ms. Fritz to our team!

My name is Kelly, and I’m excited to introduce myself as a Special Education teacher. I have over 10 years of teaching experience and am excited to begin a new adventure in Lena.

I love getting to know my students, celebrating their successes, and helping them see all the things they are capable of doing. I believe learning should be fun, and I bring plenty of encouragement, patience, and a little humor to my classroom.

I'm originally from Oconto Falls although the last few years my family and I have lived just north of Lena and I’m a proud Wildcats fan! When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, and enjoying the beauty of Wisconsin.

I’m looking forward to getting to know my students and families and having a fun, successful school year together! Go Wildcats!

Please welcome our New MS/HS Tech. Ed. Teacher, Bryan Anderson!

My name is Bryan Anderson, and I’m excited to be joining the Lena School District as a Tech Ed teacher.

I’m from the Marinette area and have spent the past 10.5 years working in education. My path to teaching was definitely not a traditional one. After high school, I spent more than a decade working in my family’s construction business before going back to school to earn a degree in Computer Science. After some time working in IT and developing software I became a Computer Science teacher. With my background in construction and technology, I later earned my Technology Education license and have taught both Tech Ed and Computer Science.

After several years in education, I’m happy to call Lena home. I’ve been very impressed with the students and staff so far. Everyone has been welcoming and helpful, and I’m especially impressed with the strong Tech Ed program that has been built here by the teachers who came before me.

Starting a new position is always a little intimidating, especially when you’re stepping into someone else’s shoes, but I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far. I’m looking forward to getting to know the students, staff, and community and continuing to build on what Lena already has to offer.

Meet our new Lena Band Director, Mr. Schreiner! Mr. Schreiner is a graduate of another small, rural, school district of Rib Lake, Wisconsin. He attended Lawrence University (same as his first name). This is his 1st year as an educator and he has loved getting to meet so many new students and families and getting to talk to them about their favorite music. Welcome Mr. Schreiner!
