Come see how the professionals do it when Dirty Dancing hits the big screen at Founders Park on Saturday, Sept. 19! Join Tracie Rabalais for dance lessons at 7 p.m. before the movie starts at 7:40 p.m.

Admission is FREE, and we’ll also have food trucks, yard games, the splash pad, and playground to keep y’all busy before the movie. 🎬🍿

🏺Come see what our potters have been up to this Monday! 🏺

Back in session 2, three of our pottery programs focused on garden pole sculptures. Their creations exhibit wheel-thrown and hand-built work, unique design techniques, and expressive glazing. Some are over 6ft tall! They feature classic NC face jugs, funky aliens, and more!

Join us this Monday 9/14 from 6-7 p.m. for a reception to view these sculptures and talk to the artists who made them. Light refreshments will be served.

Battle of the Bowls is almost here, and we’re looking forward to a fun evening in the park with good food, music, and plenty of chili to taste. 🥣

Come sample the different chili entries, listen to live music, grab something from a local food vendor, and enjoy an evening with friends and family. With activities and a face painter, there’s something for everyone! 🎨🎶

Too late to stop us from being weird on social. NOT too late to apply for our Holiday Art Market! 🎨💀

We’re looking for artists, makers, and crafters to fill 28 vendor spots at the Leland Cultural Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Applications are open through Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11:59 p.m.

More than 1,000 shoppers typically stop by the market, and this year we’re adding live music, a local bakery, food trucks, and coffee to the mix.

Booth perks include an indoor, temperature-controlled space, free and accessible parking, plus tables and chairs included with your booth fee.

Small booths are $40 and large booths are $65.

We’re switching things up a little at Founders Park this week. 🪕🎶

Dear MariBella is bringing their bluegrass sound and family harmonies to the amphitheater Thursday, Sept. 3, for our next Live in Leland concert!

This talented local band of siblings takes the stage at 6 p.m. Admission is FREE, so bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket and settle in for an evening of live music at the park.
