The summer soundtrack continues with the East Main Market Concert Series.

We are kicking things off with an incredible show by The 77' Experience on Saturday, but we are just getting started on East Main Street. Music starts at 6 PM CST and the headliner takes the stage from 8–10 PM.

Grab your chairs and blankets, your appetite for the food trucks, your support for local vendors, and your ID for adult beverages. Whether you are a local or spending the day out on the Twin Lakes, downtown Leitchfield is the place to be for your Saturday night entertainment.

Mark your calendars for the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and keep the ultimate outdoor block party going!

Mark your calendars for a weekend of tradition and tunes in Kentucky! The Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship is returning to Leitchfield on July 17-18, 2026, for another year of "Generations of the Bow."

Expect a jam-packed schedule of events, including:
- Fiddle competitions for all ages
- Mandolin, banjo, and flatpick guitar showdowns
- All-ages dancing
- Fireworks
- Vendors, amusement rides, and a car cruise-in

Proper notification ensures that your temporary spike in water usage is accurately documented, preventing unexpected billing issues. Just another quick reminder for your summer cleanup projects, Leitchfield! The City of Leitchfield Transfer Station is running its extended seasonal hours to help you keep your property looking its best.

If you need a weekend option, we have a special Saturday opening coming up THIS weekend on June 6th! We also have a few other special Saturday dates lined up over the next few months to give you extra weekend opportunities to drop off your items.

Here is a quick refresher of our schedule through September:
Tuesdays & Thursdays (Extended Hours): Open from 7:30 AM until 4 PM

Normal Hours (Monday, Wednesday, Friday): Closes at 3 PM

Special Saturday Openings (Open 8 AM to 12 PM): This Saturday, June 6, as well as July 11, Aug. 1, and Sept. 12.

Disposal Details:
- Large/Specialty Items: There is a disposal fee for items like construction debris, tires, and appliances.
- General Household Trash: Always FREE for city residents.
- Take advantage of these hours to finish those projects or finally clear out the garage. Just load up the truck and bring it down to see us at 510 S. English St.

Curious about the plans shaping the future of Leitchfield? Your voice and your input matter. We have a full lineup of Commission Meetings scheduled throughout June, and we would love for our community to be a part of the conversation.
