📢 Community Service Day! 📢

Hey Leipsic community! If you see a swarm of Vikings out and about this Friday morning, don’t worry—they’re on a mission to give back!

On Friday, May 8th, our students and staff from both the Middle School and High School will be spending their morning volunteering across town for our Day of Service.

🛠️ What’s Happening?
Our students will be rolling up their sleeves to help with various projects, including:

Park Cleanups: Tidying up our local outdoor spaces.

Landscape Work: Helping with weeding and mulching.

Community Assistance: Supporting local organizations and neighbors.

💜 Why We Do It
At Leipsic, we believe that being a Viking means more than just what happens in the classroom. It’s about being a good neighbor and taking pride in our hometown. We are so proud of our students for dedicating their time to keep Leipsic beautiful!

Keep an eye out for our purple and gold crews! If you see them working, feel free to give them a wave or a "Go Vikings!"

WARM WEATHER IS HERE!!
As the warmer weather is here or approaching, I would just like to remind all residents of our AWESOME Village, remember to keep our properties cleaned up from garbage, items in an unsightly manner as well as keeping our yards mowed. Not only does this make your property look wonderful, it makes your neighbor’s property look nice as well. When we all take pride in our properties, the whole village looks nice and clean for not only us, but for people who may be visiting. Let’s all take the time to do our part and keep Leipsic looking GREAT!!

VILLAGE OF LEIPSIC RESIDENTS
Spring is upon us and summer is around the corner. If you are thinking of those warm weather projects such as fences, sheds, swimming pools, additions, etc…please contact the village office to see if a permit may be required for your work. A little investigation now will create less headaches later. Call the office with your questions

ATTENTION!
The Village has updated the Zoning Permit Applications for Fences, Accessory Buildings and Swimming Pools. With this update of the applications, this will make it easier and more effective in the permit approval process. In the past, there has been no charge to apply for a permit, however, to help cover administrative time in reviewing, processing of the applications, there will be a $25.00 non-refundable application fee for all permit requests that will be due when your permit is picked up.

Attention!!
The Village employees are working at Buckeye Park removing some older play equipment items and prepping the area for the NEW play set and various item that will be installed in May. We ask that residents please stay clear of this construction area for safety reasons. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this process as we continue to improve our parks.

Village offices will be CLOSED today April 9, 2026 due ventilation work in the office. Water payments can be put the drop box or paid at the Union Bank or Fort Jennings bank.

The Village Office will be CLOSED Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd due to cleaning of the furnace ventilation system. Office employees will be working from home and taking calls. Any payments can be placed in the office drop box or dropped of at Union Bank or Fort Jennings State Bank.
