Leicester Fire Department will hold our annual meeting on June 29, 2026, starting at 7pm. The meeting will be held at 1563 Alexander Rd. Leicester NC. We will have three board of directors' positions to be voted on. If someone would like to be a Board Member, they shall fill out and submit a Board Member interest card to the Chairperson of the Board at least thirty (30) days before (May 30, 2026), but no more than forty-five (45) days before the annual meeting. Interest cards can be picked up at the main station.

Three members of our team recently graduated from Paramedic school and will soon sit for their state certification exam, after which they will be fully prepared to serve the Leicester community. Congratulations are in order for Zayde, Will, and Rachel.

James McClure, son of Firefighter Austin McClure, was born yesterday weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz. and measuring 19 inches long. Mom, baby, and family are all healthy and happy. Congratulations to the McClure family on their newest arrival!

Brian is an employee of ours and an all around great guy, often feeding our folks out of this food truck. His family has worked very hard to build their dream. Anything and everything helps them rebuild. We can assist with coordination of donations but those donations will need to be made to 6 Pigs and not the department.
