🏍️☀️ Warmer weather means more motorcycles on our roads.

For many riders, a motorcycle isn’t just transportation—it’s a passion and a way of life. Unfortunately, every year we respond to crashes involving motorcycles, many of which could have been prevented with a little extra awareness from everyone sharing the road.

🚗 Drivers:
• Look twice before changing lanes or turning.
• Give motorcycles extra following distance.
• Check blind spots carefully.
• Avoid distractions behind the wheel.

🏍️ Riders:
• Wear proper protective gear.
• Ride within your abilities.
• Stay visible and anticipate that other drivers may not see you.

A motorcycle may be smaller, but the person riding it is someone’s spouse, parent, child, friend, or neighbor.

This summer, let’s work together to keep everyone safe. A few extra seconds of attention can make all the difference.

🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓

As graduation season begins across our community, we want to recognize the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of all graduates.

Whether your next step is college, trade school, military service, the workforce, or discovering your path along the way — your future matters, and your community is proud of you.

There is no single road to success. Some of the most important careers in our communities are built through hands-on training, skilled trades, and public service professions.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave everything in service to others.

As we continue serving our community today, we do so with appreciation for the heroes who made that service and freedom possible.

From all of us at Lehighton Ambulance Association, we thank and remember our fallen military heroes and their families. 🇺🇸

We know this video is a few years old, but this EMS Week feels a little different without one of our familiar faces.

Some people leave a lasting impact not just on a company, but on the people around them, and he was certainly one of them. How fitting that this memory showed up on the final day of EMS Week.

Thank you for celebrating with us this week, and thank you for remembering those who helped shape Lehighton Ambulance into what it is today. ❤️

Throwing it back this EMS Week 📸🚑

Before the high-tech monitors, updated ambulances, and modern uniforms… there was the foundation that built it all. Long before today’s crews hit the road, dedicated providers were serving this community with the same mission we carry now: showing up when people need help most.

Some things may have changed over the years… hairstyles, equipment, and maybe a few questionable mustaches 😄… but the commitment to this community never has.

We’re proud of where we started, grateful for those who paved the way, and excited for where EMS continues to go.

Take a trip down memory lane with us and feel free to tag someone you recognize or share your favorite LAA memories below! 🚑❤️

EMS Week calories don’t count… right? 🍦🚑

A huge thank you to St. Luke’s Miners for the ice cream treats for our crews! Nothing cools down a busy EMS shift better than ice cream and appreciation.

We truly appreciate the support and kindness shown to our team during EMS Week!
