Adult Continuing Education is looking for experienced Electrical professionals to join our team as Part-Time Evening Apprenticeship Instructors.

If you know your trade and enjoy helping others build their skills, this is an opportunity to bring your real-world experience into the classroom. Previous teaching experience is not required. BCTC provides support and resources to help experienced trades professionals make the transition to teaching.

Qualified candidates must hold a current Journeyman or Master license and have at least three years of verifiable work experience in the trade.

HVAC/Refrigeration students are getting right to work with the tools, equipment, and systems used in the trade.

They’re brazing copper, checking pressures, troubleshooting components, and working with both training systems and full size equipment. It’s hands on practice that builds the skills to diagnose a problem, make the repair, and get things running again.

BCTC is seeking a dependable Maintenance & Custodial Worker to help keep our facilities clean, safe, functional, and secure while supporting the day-to-day needs of our school community.

Qualified candidates should have experience with minor building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, along with knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and maintenance equipment. The position involves a variety of hands-on responsibilities, including custodial work, facility maintenance, grounds support, and responding to maintenance needs throughout the building.

This full-time position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in maintaining spaces that students and staff rely on every day.
