Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as crews officially complete the transition and begin the first full operational shift from the new Round Hill Fire and Rescue Station No. 4 at 41 W Loudoun Street.
Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, in coordination with the Round Hill Volunteer Fire Rescue Department, officially opened the new station for operations at 6:00 a.m. today! The new 20,500 square foot station will support both career and volunteer members as they serve Loudoun County, while also providing space for community meetings and training.
Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, in coordination with the Round Hill Volunteer Fire Rescue Department, is pleased to announce the new Round Hill Fire and Rescue Station No. 4 is officially open for operations as of 6:00 a.m. today! 🚒🚑🚨
This new 20,500 square foot station includes apparatus bays, bunkrooms, a training room, a break room, restrooms and showers, food preparation and dining areas, laundry and decontamination areas, supply storage, a gear and hose drying area, a breathing apparatus air compressor room, a fitness room, repair shop and office space for both the Round Hill Volunteer and Loudoun County fire and rescue operations. The new station also features a 2,500 square foot community room that will be available to the public for meetings and training sessions. Units assigned to the station are Engine 604, Medic 604, Tanker 604, and Brush 604.
An official Grand Opening Ceremony for the Round Hill Fire and Rescue Station will take place this summer, with more details to come.
