Our VCE Loudoun 4-H members participated in two incredible events last week! π
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, eight Loudoun 4-H youth took part in the Virginia 4-H Day at the Capitol celebration, touring the Virginia State Capitol and meeting with state legislators and 4-H leaders. Additionally, Loudoun 4-H'ers Mary Grace Menuey and Elli Leach participated in the day's events as Virginia 4-H Ambassadors (Mary Grace: State Cabinet, Elli: Livestock).
On Thursday, January 22, VCE Loudoun 4-H'er Shreyas Kalidindi was recognized as a 2026 Virginia 4-H Youth in Action Award Winner at the Evening with 4-H ceremony. He received the award for healthy living, along with a $500 mini-grant to develop a significant community project and the opportunity to be featured as a Virginia 4-H youth spokesperson. Congratulations to Shreyas on this amazing achievement! π
We would also like to recognize Mary Grace Menuey and fellow Loudoun 4-H'er Lincoln Reck for their contributions to the Evening with 4-H ceremony! Mary Grace, a 2025 Youth in Action Award Winner, served as the emcee for the evening's program, and Lincoln was a featured musician, performing "Gavotte" by J.S. Bach on violin.
