We are incredibly grateful to announce that Loudoun Cares has received a $20,000 grant from 100WomenStrong of Loudoun County, Virginia to support our ConnectLine program and expand critical case management services for Loudoun residents in need.

Every day, ConnectLine helps families, seniors, and individuals facing hardship access essential resources like food, utilities, transportation support, and emergency assistance. As the need for longer-term support continues to grow across our community, this funding will help Loudoun Cares provide more structured short to mid-term case management that connects clients not only to immediate relief, but to long-term stability.

We are deeply thankful to 100WomenStrong and their members for investing in local nonprofits and helping strengthen the safety net for Loudoun County families.

Together, we can continue building a more stable and supportive community for all. ๐Ÿ’œ

One of our favorite nights of the year, the Outstanding Volunteer Awards once again reminded us just how incredible this community is. We spent the evening celebrating the people who give their time, energy, and hearts to making Loudoun a better place for all.

To everyone who was nominated, thank you. Being recognized by your peers and community speaks volumes about the impact you make every single day. Thank you as well to everyone who submitted nominations and helped shine a light on these outstanding individuals.

A special thank you to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors for recognizing volunteers from each district, and to Chair Randall for helping introduce this meaningful category. This year marked the first time in the eventโ€™s history that all nine Board members participated in recognizing volunteers from their respective districts, making the evening even more special.

Congratulations to this yearโ€™s winners and to every volunteer who continues to serve and strengthen our community. We are endlessly inspired by you. ๐Ÿค

It was exciting to be a part of Amazon's Rise & Recognize: A Community Impact Gathering, celebrating the collective impact of nonprofit leaders and community partners across Loudoun County.

Loudoun Cares has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Amazon as part of the launch of the Amazon Loudoun County Community Fund, a $150,000 investment in nonprofits and community-based organizations across Loudoun County. We've earmarked these funds to support older adults in our community who are seeking financial assistance and human services to help maintain their housing stability. This is exactly the kind of work we exist to do, and with Amazon's support, we can do more of it.

Thank you to Amazon and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties for this investment in our community. We are grateful and energized. ๐Ÿ™
