LCSO administrative offices will be closed today in observance of Juneteenth. For non-emergencies, call 703-777-1021. Always dial 911 in an emergency.

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Texas and announced the end of slavery, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day to reflect on freedom, resilience, and the ongoing work toward equality.
