A huge thank you to our staff! The snow storm, compounded by ice, was troublesome for citizens and visitors alike. Additionally, we had one of our tennis bubbles deflate after a massive hole opened in it. Staff was quick to react and have begun the process of repair and reinflation. The plan is to have, at the least, the main tennis bubble back in service by Monday. Thank you again to our hard working staff!

Join us for the ribbon cutting Friday at 5pm for our new Trompe l'oeil murals on Lassiter Way! This past weekend the family took a walk around downtown and got to interact with our newest art! I was thrilled to not only push for approval on these murals but to champion doubling the size for better visibility and engagement. Come celebrate with us!

Recently I had the opportunity to emcee the campaign kickoff for our VA-29 Delegate Marty Martinez. A testament to his tremendous ability to legislate and connect with the community and it's leaders several guests came and spoke. Thank you to .herring for speaking and sharing some perspective on the great work Marty does for us in VA-29.

Marty, your life of service is an inspiration. As a fellow Air Force Veteran and Town Council member you inspire me to continue to serve and follow in your footsteps.

I join in solidarity the members of C**T, including our in condemning and suspending Purcellville's Mayor Chris Bertaut. The actions by Mayor Bertaut and three other council members over the last several months erode the integrity of us as fellow elected officials. Thank you to the Mayors indicated above for taking what would normally be a difficult stance.

Please check out the Facebook group Purcellville Deserves Better to support recalling these individuals to return order, decency and honor to the town of Purcellville.

Yesterday I was able to attend the Prince street house drop with for humanity. The new project is a one-over-one stacked duplex on a vacant lot on Prince Street. These modular homes were constructed and transported to the lots this week. The drop involves a crane hoisting the 4 pieces into place where they are to be assembled in place. The best part is, this opportunity allows the families moving in to become owners of a home where they may not have the chance otherwise.

Finished up the day at Leesburg Elementary where I was happy to offer a bingo prize that includes a personal tour of Town hall and a meet and greet with the Mayor.
