Treadway Families... Here's a recap of our week.
- We named our Teacher of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year, and School Related Employee of the Year.
- Students assisted with the Pledge
- Mr. Freeze Moonwalked with students
- We served Nachos and Lemonade to our staff because they are "Nacho your average teachers".
- Ms. Todd won $20 in cold hard cash for solving today's riddle.
- What a place to be!!

Meet the New Tready Bears!!

Today's staff member is Mrs. Shelby Johnson. Mrs. Johnson serves Treadway as a 5th grade ELA Teacher. We are blessed to have you at Treadway Mrs. Johnson.

Please give a warm Tready Bear welcome to Mrs. Shelby Johnson, an accomplished educator with background in Elementary/ESE and Educational Leadership who is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership! Bringing teaching experience across both elementary and middle school levels, Mrs. Johnson fully embraces Treadway's "Whatever It Takes" mindset to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and valued. Outside of school, she loves traveling and visiting Disney with her family—and as a proud mother of three students attending Treadway this year, she is thrilled to join our community as both a teacher and a parent!

The Florida Department of Education and Volunteer Florida invite all K-12 Florida students to participate in the 2026 Hispanic Heritage Month contests. Treadway Families - we have a special announcement for you. We will be hosting Open House on September 29th from 5:00 - 7:30 PM. The schedule will be:

5:00 PM- Dinner is served to those who registered using QR code
5:30 PM- NWRI- New World Reading Initiative Presentation
6:00 PM- Annual Title 1 Presentation
6:30 - 7:30 - Classroom Visits

We are excited to open our doors to all of our families and showcase all the great work our Tready bears are doing. Please make sure to register for dinner using the QR Code on the flier.

Meet the new Tready Bears!! Todays staff member is Mr. Hey. Mr. Hey serves Treadway as the Instructional Dean. We are happy to have you here Mr. Hey!!

We are so excited to welcome local native Spencer Hey to the Treadway Elementary family! Bringing 15 years of rich experience from Leesburg High School—spanning roles from math teacher and coach to Athletic Director—Spencer holds a master's in Educational Leadership and is eager to help shape our young Tready Bears into motivated scholars. Outside of school, Spencer loves staying active, cheering on the Gators and Pats, coaching his 6-year-old son Parker’s T-ball team, and hanging out with his dog, Honey.

Treadway Families, today we crowned our 2026 Teacher of the Year, 2026 Rookie Teacher of the Year, and 2026 School Related Employee of the Year.

Our 2026 Teacher of the Year is.... Mrs. Dibuono. Mrs. Dibuono is a 3rd grade teacher here at Treadway. Congratulations Mrs. Dibuono, we are very proud of you.
