What a magical morning at Douglass Preschool. Our preschool children and patrons from the playground were beyond excited to see Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse visit the gym today. There were smiles, hugs, dancing, and so much laughter as the children enjoyed this special surprise. Watching their faces light up made the day truly unforgettable. Thank you to Mickey and Minnie for bringing so much joy and magic to our preschoolers

The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) is inviting residents to complete an online Community Needs Assessment Survey. Your input will help shape future parks, facilities, and recreation program offerings across the county.

A statistically valid survey of residents through the mail has been completed. PRCS will continue collecting additional feedback through the online survey until Friday, May 8, 2026, to ensure all interested residents have an opportunity to share their perspectives.

The online survey will complement the results of the statistically valid survey and help PRCS better understand community priorities. This input will support the department’s ongoing commitment to providing quality, accessible, amenity-rich park and recreation spaces, along with meaningful programs and services.

Participation in this survey includes the option to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one (1) $500 prepaid Visa gift card upon full completion of the survey.
