Located on the grounds of the Loudoun County courthouse in historic downtown Leesburg, the Law Library is a public library serving the legal information needs of the public as well as legal and governmental professionals. Public access to legal information is a critical component of an open and equal justice system. Our mission is to provide appropriate access to accurate and practical legal infor

mation to anyone who needs it. Stop by to use online databases, such as Westlaw, or get forms and templates for common legal and business needs. Our services include:
• Reference and research assistance (by phone, in person or by email)
• Attorney referral information for pro se litigants
• Free WiFi
• Public computers and access to Westlaw
• Free public notary services
• Work tables and charging stations
• Printing and copying (15 cents per page; B&W only)
• Virginia statutes and law books
• U.S. statutes and law books

There's a new book vending machine in town! Bring your library card to Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) at 42225 Adoption Drive in Leesburg to make your "Gotcha Day" a story to remember. LCPL cardholders pay zero adoption fees this Saturday and Sunday, and you can use the machine to get your first library card. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The 2026 Food Drive is on! From May 2-10, donate healthy, shelf-stable foods at the Loudoun County Law Library, as part of the county-wide move to fed those in need. Visit the link in our comments for a list of suggested items to donate.

All food items will go to Loudoun Hunger Relief for distribution to members of our community. Over the years, this annual food drives has collected enough food for 38,286 meals. Help us grow this number and please share this post to let your neighbors know how they can pitch in, too!
