A public meeting will be held at the Leesburg FEMA Building TODAY at 5;00 pm to hear public comment on whether or not consumable h**p products should be sold in the Town Limits of Leesburg as set out under the new Alabama law. Any and all interested citizens are invited to attend.

It was a beautiful day for the dedication of the Frankie Brewster Memorial Pavilion at Leesburg Landing. Frankie loved the town of Leesburg and served faithfully on the council for 17 years. The pavilion was the result of his tireless efforts and will be a great asset to fishermen as well as the residents of the Town of Leesburg. It was sponsored by the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Leesburg, Johnsons Giant Foods, and WLIA. We appreciate everyone that came out today for the celebration!
