Honored to attend the Memorial Day ceremony at the Leesburg Courthouse today. This pic is the WWI memorial. One of my first acts as a new Supervisor was to make a motion to replace the original plaque, which segregated the names of African American fallen soldiers, with a nearly identical plaque with all names listed alphabetically. One of my proudest moments ever!

The annual campaign to reduce damage caused by spotted lanternflies kicked off Saturday with teams of volunteers fanning out around Loudoun County to locate and destroy their eggs.

Please join us as we remember Firefighter Trevor Brown of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company (SVFC). Firefighter Brown tragically lost his life in the line of duty during a catastrophic home explosion in the 300 block of Silver Ridge Drive in Sterling on the evening of Friday, February 16, 2024. Firefighter Brown joined the SVFC in May of 2016 and was assigned to the Friday night crew.

We are committed to honoring his memory and vow to never forget his sacrifice and the sacrifice of his family.
